Summer vacation

My summer vacation started out with Kyle, Ryan and I flying up to Portland on the 11 of June. I wanted to be at the temple on Saturday the 13th for Andrea's sealing. James stayed home as Tylor was still at scout camp (where James had been the 8th through the 10th). Tylor was coming home on Saturday the 13 of June. I was also able to go though the temple with Andrea on Friday night, and Todd McLauchin (one of Arlie's good friends) went though for Arlie's endowments.

Boots

I did a garage sale to get rid of some stuff, and while I was going through some boxes the boys found these boots... what is it about kids that makes them think stuff from a box old or new is GREAT?
So here they are sporting their boots around the house in June in Arizona!

Art Walk

Every year at school the kids have art masterpiece. They learn about 10 different artiest and then make a piece of art themselves. Usually in the same type or genera of art as one of the artiest they've studied.
The school mascot is a bobcat, we ran into him in the hall and were able to get a picture with him /her (it?). As you can see by the conspicuous absence of Ryan he wasn't all that excited about getting a picture with a giant (albeit fake) cat...

Kyle's splatter art.

Kyle's star (?) art.

Tylor's Asian inspired art.

Tylor's "pop-art" (3-D art).

Moving

On April 25, we moved in to a house. YEA! We are just house sitting for some friends that are in Portland,OR for 6 months. James says we're test driving a pool, a yard, the ward... his answer changes depending on who's asking. So when we were packing up boxes James and I were writing what was in each box on the box. On this box, Ryan helped write on it so that we'd know what was in it. Is it only me, or does it seem you have more things when they are in boxes.

Ryan needed a little nap after all the hard work he'd done.
